Pickler was born Kellie dawn Pickler on June 28, 1986. Pickler had a difficult childhood. When she was only two, her mother left her to escape from an unfaithful marriage. Pickler returned to her mother in 1995, when she assumed custody. But it didn't go as it was originally planned. Then, when she reached the age of 12 the court remitted Pickler to her grandparents who took care of her until she reached adulthood. With the loss of their parents Pickler got too involved in caring for her kids. She revealed that she didn't have time to study and started learning how to be a homemaker at a young age.
